Last week we shared the story (“Behind the Counter”) of my post-retirement role at a local golf course with national and international notoriety. Within moments of our post, our good friend and loyal follower, John Sokolowski, an outstanding teaching professional at the Highlands of Donegal in Mount Joy, PA responded with a few of his “Behind the Counter” experiences in Texas. John, thank you for your contribution, get well and we will see you in May!

If you work answering the phone in a Pro Shop and schedule players tee times, be sure to keep notes of the funny ones.
